Gemius Latvia: TOP 10 Advertisers in February 2022

In February 2022, two brands of the finance industry - Bigbank and Swedbank - joined TOP 10 Advertisers ranking based on Gemius Adreal study. Trade brands Rimi and Lidl kept their leading positions with a small difference in the number of Real Users. The ranking is closed by two more newcomers - Cv.lv and Delfi.
Financial industry brands
In the shortest month of the year, two financial industry brands have joined the Top 10 advertisers in Latvia – with 463,000 Real Users. Bigbank takes 5th position in the ranking, leaving behind Swedbank brand ads that reached a similar number of users - 455,000 Real Users.
Trade industry brands
Meanwhile trade industry brands Rimi and Lidl maintained their leading positions in the ranking. The same as in January, Rimi held the first position in the number of users - 535,000 Real Users, leaving behind Lidl, whose advertisements appeared on the computers of 518,000 users. Meanwhile, the telecommunications brand Galaxy Mobile Devices, which was the third most popular in January, was overtaken by the online furniture store Mēbeles1 from the trade industry, whose advertisements reached 485,000 Latvian Internet users. At the same time Galaxy Mobile Devices reached 468,000 Real Users with its advertisements.
Newcomers in the TOP 10 ranking
The same as in January, two other brands from the trade industry are in the ranking - the advertising portal “Pērc un pārdod” with 454,000 Real Users, followed by the electronics store RD Electronics, whose advertisements appeared on the computers of 452,000 Latvian Internet users. The ranking is closed by two more newcomers. The recruitment brand Cv.lv, which actively advertised their survey “Top Employer 2021” last month, joins the ranking with 439,000 Real Users. However, the media industry brand Delfi closes the TOP 10 in February – its self-advertisements appeared to 419,000 internet users last month.
Four brands – Rimi, Delfi, Lidl and Mēbeles1 – achieved more than 1 million ad contacts according to eQ Ad Contacts – quality indicator consisting of four elements: ad type, contact duration, ad size, and the simultaneous presence of other ads in the user's window.
