Ukraine: One fifth of Internet users visit e-commerce websites
On average, 18 per cent of Internet users using desktop and laptop computersvisited e-commerce websites in Ukraine per day. The largest number of Internet users looked at such websites on 19 September. You will find more information in the Gemius analysis.
Most of Ukrainian Internet users visited e-commerce websites in the second third of the analysed month. Between 11 and 20 September such websites attracted per day over 3.6 million of Internet users (19 per cent) who use desktop and laptop computers (source: gemiusAudience). It is in this period, particularly on 19 September, that e-commerce websites were visited by the highest number of Internet users: 4 million (20 per cent), thus setting a daily record. The lowest number of Net users within the analysed period went to such type of websites on 10 September: 2.8 million (14 per cent).
Everyday e-commerce
The analysis of the number of visits on e-commerce websites in Ukraine shows that such websites are viewed less frequently during weekends than on other days of the week. While the average number of visitors on weekend days totals 2.9 million people (15 per cent), it reaches 3.7 million (19 per cent) on weekdays.
Gemius analysed data from September 2017 gathered from Ukrainian Internet users who use desktop and laptop computers.
