Twitter.com less popular at weekends

In July, Twitter.com attracted an average of 1.4 per cent of Polish internet users every day. Twitter users were far less likely to tweet at weekends. Last month, the record-breaking day was 25 July, when the website was visited by 2.6 per cent of internet users.
Last month, Twitter.com attracted 372 thousand visitors every day on average – 1.4 per cent of all internet users (source: Gemius/PBI study). The site was most in demand on 21, 24 and 25 of July. The website reported a record high number of visitors on Monday, 25 July, at 677 thousand (2.6 per cent). Twitter.com saw its lowest number of visitors on Saturday, 1 July – 184 thousand (0.7 per cent).
Weekends with dropping visitor numbers
In July, Twitter.com was least popular at weekends. Last month, the average number of visitors on Saturdays and Sundays was 298 thousand. This means that only one in every hundred Polish internet users made a visit to Twitter.com during that time.
Gemius analysed the data from July 2017 collected from Polish internet users aged 7 to 75. The analysis considered data for Twitter.com regarding all types of devices: desktop and laptop computers as well as mobile devices. Gemius also analyses data for the Twitter mobile application and these data are available monthly.
