Tablet users in Estonia spend the most time on news websites
More than 258 thousand of Estonian internet users browse domestic websites via a tablet. On average, tablet users in Estonia spend the most time on news website Delfi.ee. Find out which domestic websites Estonian internet users spend the most time on using tablet.
The results of the analysis carried out by Gemius (data from April 2015) show that 258 thousand Estonian internet users between the ages of 15 and 74 browse domestic websites via a tablet. What websites do they spend the most time on?
Most time viewing the news
In terms of domestic websites, Estonian tablet users devoted the most time to browsing the news website Delfi.ee. Each visitor using a tablet spent an average of 56 minutes on the website. The analysis also shows that seven out of ten internet users connecting to the domestic network using a tablet are users of Delfi.ee (69 per cent). The website received 9.15 million views from more than 192 thousand of these people.
In addition to news related sites, Estonian internet users spend quite a fair amount of time using the search engine Neti.ee and browsing a popular automotive site Auto24.ee.
About the research
The data comes from gemiusAudience, an international research project conducted by Gemius in around 30 countries in Europe, Middle East and North Africa. It aims to determine the number and demographic profile of internet users and to learn about the ways in which they use the net: websites, audio and video material, or applications. The research is carried out in compliance with the international code of conduct ICC/ESOMAR.
