Romania: websites with the greatest rise in popularity among teenagers
Among Romanian teenagers, global corporations rule. Of the top 10, only two websites are strictly Romanian. The rest are localized versions of global or regional players.
The top three included two Google sites – Search and YouTube. Interestingly, Facebook is growing in popularity among teenagers in Romania. The trends in Western Europe and the United States are reversed.
This statement shows that the Romanian internet market differs from the markets in Ukraine and Belarus, where local or Russian websites predominate.
