Due to the situation in Ukraine, we publish the information about platforms where reliable information was most often searched for in Ukraine during April 24 - May 24 period. All data comes from the single-source Gemius study - Mediapanel.

In analysed period - April 24 - May 24, 28 213 560 Real Users searched for information in the Ukrainian media and websites. The ATS was equal 14h 4min. Ukrainians most often used smartphones (more than 25 million RU) and PC (over 20 million RU).

The Internet in Ukraine three months after the Russian aggression against Ukraine

Compared to the 24 March - 24 April period, during 24 April - 24 May the top five most visited websites by Ukrainian internet users remains unchanged. Google is still in the first place (ATS = 3h 28 min, RU = 26,5 million), followed by youtube.com website (ATS = 44 min, RU = almost 20 mln) and facebook.com (ATS = 38 min, RU = almost 18 mln). The 15 websites most frequently viewed by Ukrainians include social media websites (facebook.com, instagram.com), as well as news and TV services and internet websites. Most popular of them is tsn.ua (5th most visited website) with ATS = 24 min and over 12 mln Real Users. The website of the largest commercial bank in Ukraine was also frequently used - privatbank.ua (ATS = 22 min, RU - almost 9 mln) and Wikipedia (4th place, RU = 14 million).

In the case of data analysed for a specific type of media, internet news media (RU eqal almost 26 mln; ATS=2h 35 min) and portals (RU=14,5 mln ; ATS = 1h 27 min) were the most searched, dominating over TV and radio. The same as in previously analysed periods (February 24 – March 24 and March 24 - April 24) the most frequently sought information was specific, quickly and easily available information.
