Are religious websites popular in Poland?
Every tenth Polish internet user visits religion themed websites (11 per cent of online population). Half of those who enter these sites are individuals between 15 and 34 years old (49 per cent). A quarter (26 per cent) declare higher education – Gemius data shows.
In early November Poles traditionally visit the graves of their deceased loved ones. In that time media devote a lot of their time to discuss the existential questions of life and death. This is also when issues related to faith are brought up more often. Gemius analysts have decided to study religious websites. Which of them are most popular? Who are the internet users who seek content related to creed? When do such religious websites get most interest? These questions have found their answers in the infographics prepared by Gemius.
The data quoted originates from an international project (gemiusAudience) conducted by Gemius in more than 30 countries. It aims to research into the number and demographic profile of internet users and the manner in which they utilize the web. The study is performed according to Gemius proprietary hybrid methodology and in accordance with the ICC/ESOMAR international code of conduct.
