#gemiusAdReal: TOP 10 advertisers in Poland in July

Which brands were the most popular on the Polish market in July 2022? See Gemius analysis based on data from the gemiusAdReal study.

TOP 10 advertisers ranking in June 2022 was dominated by the brands from trade industry - 7/10 of the entities were supermarkets, shops or online shopping platforms. Top 10 ranking included such brands as a Media Expert, Allegro.pl, Euro RTV AGD, Lidl, Biedronka, Rossmann and shopee.pl. There was only one company connected to telecomunications - Plus. and one, entirely new player in the TOP 10 Ranking - Disney + streaming platform, which Polish viewers can watch in their country from June 14. In June 2022 this brand reached over 32 mln Real Users with its advertising message, achieving reach on the level of almost 97%. Surprisingly, Disney + did not appear in the TOP 10 July ranking.

July 2022 is another month in which the first place in the ranking remain unchanged - the electronics stores company - Media Expert - from January 2022 is still the leader. Also 2nd place remain the same as in June, April and May - the online shopping platform, Allegro.pl, is still on the podium. The rest of the ranking has changed a little bit compared to the previous month, some of the brands came back and some of the entities from the June ranking are still in the game. Which brands were the most popular on the Polish market in July 2022?

The top 10 ranking in July 2022 based on gemius AdReal data include as many as eight trade entities – three of them are related to the supermarkets - (Lidl, Biedronka, Kaufland), two to electronics – Euro RTV AGD and Media Expert. There are also online shopping platforms in the ranking - Allegro.pl and shopee.pl. In this month Play, a brand connected to telecommunication, came back to the game and checked in on the 5th place (31,8 mln RU and reach equal 96,4%). This brand also noted the longest ATS - almost 23 sec.

Advertising expenses data in the gemiusAdReal

From April 2022, the gemiusAdReal cross-media study in Poland was enriched with a new breakthrough functionality. As the first study in this country it will provide information about advertising expenses, including ad types and formats, based on data from a single-source research panel.

Information about advertising expenses are presented for all types of media covered by gemiusAdReal's research, i.e. PC and Mobile (display ads, excluding web browsers and social networks: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram), TV (video ads) and Radio (audio ads). The results are estimated based on the official price lists of publishers and the size of advertising traffic. The price lists used in the estimation are updated on an ongoing basis for each subsequent month and take into account not only the price of advertisements in a given medium, but also the type of advertising format or the duration of audio and video spots.
